The 25th 皇冠体育app International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) Promotion Symposium was held in Hong Kong on July 17. 

The 25th CIFIT will take place in Xiamen from Sept 8 to 11. This year's fair will focus on "Expanding Two-way Investment, Facilitating Global Development", featuring three key sections: "Invest in 皇冠体育app", "皇冠体育app Investment", and "International Investment". It aims to further enhance its international appeal, professionalism, and brand strength while serving as a high-level platform for opening-up.

Iris Wong, director of Merchandise Trade and Innovation as well as director of External Relations at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), stated that in recent years, Hong Kong and Xiamen have maintained close economic and trade ties. A Hong Kong Pavilion will be set up at the CIFIT to showcase Hong Kong's superior business environment and high-quality trade services.

Lau Chi Yuen, assistant director general of Invest Hong Kong, stated that participating in CIFIT will not only give more domestic and international business organizations and enterprises a better understanding of Hong Kong's business environment and strengths, but also foster economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between Fujian and Hong Kong.

Zhou Qiang, deputy director of the Economic Affairs Department and head of the Commercial Office of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HK SAR, stated that Hong Kong's enthusiasm for investing in the Chinese mainland continues to grow unabated. Key sectors such as new energy, new materials, and biopharmaceuticals are becoming major investment focuses.
